Abstract

A diary can be a simple record of life, but it can also become a tool for thinking, understanding and exact research, for planning and relaxation, a space for learning, a hatchery for innovative ideas or a lifeline in problematic personal and professional situations. You will experience different journaling techniques to suit your current purpose. Whether you keep a traditional paper journal, a study log, use a journaling app, or a little of everything, you'll boost your mental health and build confidence and resilience on both personal and academic levels. You will also learn to work backwards with your entries to reflect on your practices and priorities. You will find that a journal can be a safe space for you as well as a good friend.
